    Abstract

Smart City refers to a city that uses Information & Communication Technology ("ICT") to network city functions. New types of city have been studied to solve urban problems and environmental problems arising from the accelerating trend towards urbanization around the world. Accordingly, Smart City is emerging as a new type of city through ICT convergence technology. Smart City is a futuristic city that addresses urban and environmental problems and responds to industrial and economic development by applying robotics, artificial intelligence, Internet of things, unmanned transportation, 3-D printing and nanotechnology, which have been developed due to ICT convergence technology through the Fourth Industrial Revolution, to urban areas. Therefore, as a method and possibility to apply ICT convergence technology are suggested based on the analysis of ICT convergence technology developed through the Fourth Industrial Revolution, this study aims to build basic data to implement a future advanced smart city.
